About Great Bear FramesI am a full service picture framer, and produce a unique line of mouldings and frames designed to suit fine art and general public needs which are affordable and aesthetically pleasing.
I am often asked about my name: The Great Bear (Ursa Major) is the star constellation of which the Big Dipper is a part. Clear nights in the Alberta countryside are required to see the whole constellation. In the framing trade since 1980, and starting Great Bear in 1994, I have seen the business manouever many location moves. Presently, there is only a workshop, and this online gallery.
